Privacy notice
This page explains which personal data Glowique processes, why and how. It is based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we process
Only what is needed to book and carry out your treatment:
- name, phone number and/or email address
- booking details: the chosen treatment, time and any wishes
- information needed for a safe treatment, such as contraindications, which you tell us yourself
All data comes directly from you. The website has no forms and does not collect visitor data.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Booking and customer communication — basis: performance of a contract.
- Safe delivery of the treatment (health-related information) — basis: your explicit consent, given when you share the information. You may withdraw it at any time.
- Accounting — basis: legal obligation.
Your data is not used for marketing without your separate permission, and no automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
4. Retention
Contact and booking details are kept only for as long as the booking and treatment require; no separate customer database is maintained. Accounting records are kept for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act.
5. Disclosure and transfers
Data is never sold or passed to third parties for marketing. Communication takes place through the channel you choose — phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email or Instagram — so your messages pass through that service (e.g. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, Google Ireland Ltd) under its own privacy policy. Accounting is handled by an accountant in Finland bound by confidentiality.
6. Website and cookies
The website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and collects no visitor data. Only technical cookies needed to remember your language choice and run the site may be set. Fonts are served by Bunny Fonts, an EU-based service that stores no visitor data. External links (Google Maps, Instagram, WhatsApp) lead to third-party services with their own privacy policies.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Send requests to aurinkokate@gmail.com. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman of Finland (tietosuoja.fi).
